Program Admissions
Embark on a journey to become a qualified English language instructor through our TESOL 150 and 300 programs at D&H College. Ensure a smooth admission process by carefully following the outlined requirements and steps below.
- Completion of Canadian senior matriculation or its equivalent.
- English Proficiency Standards (One of the following must be met):
- TOEFL iBT: 80 overall with a minimum of 20 in each area
- IELTS: 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in each skill area
- Cambridge: FCE – A, CAE, CPE, or BEC Higher certificates
- Duolingo: 115
- Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test: CLB 6 in each area
- Common European Framework: B2
- D&H College English Proficiency Exam Level 5
- High school graduation in Canada with a grade of 70% in English 12
- An undergraduate degree from an English-speaking university
Note: Exam scores must have been earned within one calendar year before applying to the TESL program. Original documents are required for proof of graduation or English proficiency.
- Minimum age limit is 18 years old.
- While a university degree is not required, candidates aiming to teach English abroad are advised that it is necessary to obtain a work permit in most countries.
- A comprehensive resume, including teaching experience, names of employers, job titles, and positions.
- A scanned copy of your academic document/s (diploma or university degree).
- Academic transcript.
- Proof of English Proficiency.
- Fill out and submit the application form below.
- Apply for the scholarship simultaneously from the link bellow.
- Your application will be reviewed, and confirmation will be sent within 5 business days.
- Send the supporting documents for the specific program.
- Pay your fees (will be invoiced).
- Our program advisor will contact you to share orientation documents and study plans.
- Your instructor will contact you to commence the course.
