本次研修构建起 “理论授课—实地观摩—交流研讨—分组复盘” 全闭环学习模式,理论与实践紧密结合,互动研讨贯穿全过程,切实保障研修学习深度与实效。
From July 06 to July 16, 2026, six educators—Fan Rong, Wang Wenhua, Jia Zilan, Feng Xinsheng and Zhao Xihui from Shanghai Commercial School, as well as Lyu Dongmei from Shanghai I&C Foreign Languages School—participated in a professional development (PD) training program organized by D&H College in Vancouver, Canada, with training hosted on the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus.
Tailored to the development demands of vocational education amid digital transformation, the training curriculum covered a series of key topics including digital teaching reform, innovative classroom management, tiered education and incentive strategies for students, AI-enabled teaching practices, and a comparison between Chinese and Western vocational education. It aimed to introduce the open educational philosophies, standardized classroom strategies and diversified student cultivation systems adopted by Canadian institutions, so as to accumulate practical experience for continuously improving classroom teaching quality and efficiency and promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign vocational education sectors.
The training program fell into two core modules:
Systematic Special Lectures
Dr. Mostafa, a senior educational scholar at D&H College, delivered systematic theoretical lectures centering on the core themes. The sessions thoroughly unpacked modern classroom design, the application of AI teaching tools and differentiated student management, offering profound insights to all participating educators.
Field Visits to Local Educational Venues
The six participating educators paid successive visits to distinctive educational institutions such as Simon Fraser University (SFU), Vancouver Public Library and CornerStone Community College. Comparative seminars on Chinese and foreign teaching models were held alongside each site visit.
This training established a full closed-loop learning framework featuring “theoretical lectures – on-site observation – exchange seminars – group review sessions”. Integrating theory closely with practice and featuring interactive discussions throughout the whole schedule, the program effectively guaranteed in-depth and fruitful learning outcomes.
